Influence of Synchronous Generator Excitation Parameters on Power System Transient Voltage Stability
2021 IEEE 4th International Electrical and Energy Conference (CIEEC), 2021The comprehensive influence of synchronous generator excitation parameters on power system transient voltage stability was studied and analyzed. Firstly, based on the principle of trajectory sensitivity analysis, a quantitative method was proposed to ...

Detecting transient voltage stability and voltage sag
COMPEL - The international journal for computation and mathematics in electrical and electronic engineering, 2004This paper presents method to discriminate between transient voltage stability and voltage sag. The discrete wavelet transform (WT) is a powerful tool in the analysis of the transient phenomena in power systems because of its ability to extract information in both the time and frequency domain.

Fast classification, aggregation, and modeling of load clusters for transient voltage stability
, 2021Transient voltage instability always starts from low-voltage load areas and burgeons to high-voltage grids, where the dynamic load is one significant factor. There is an urgent demand for effective and efficient modeling of electrical loads.

TCSC as a transient voltage stabilizing controller
2001 IEEE Power Engineering Society Winter Meeting. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.01CH37194), 2002TCSC has been proposed to enhance the voltage stability by changing the reactive power distribution in the power system. The authors have discussed the effect of TCSC on steady state voltage stability and small-signal voltage stability. This paper discusses the TCSC's enhancement on transient voltage stability.

This paper presents a technique for accurate discrimination between transient voltage stability and voltage sag by combining damped sinusoids-based transient modeling with neural networks. Transient modeling is accomplished by energy adapted matching pursuits with an over-complete dictionary of damped sinusoids.

Transient Stability of Low Voltage Micro Grid
2019 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE), 2019The micro grids (MG) is an essential part of smart grids, since distributed generations based on renewable energy sources are becoming incredibly popular. For low-voltage micro grid, this popularity becomes transparently obvious. In a low-voltage MG islanded mode operation, the type 4 wind turbine generators, connecting to grid through the inverter ...
