ABSTRACT Objective The International Caries Detection and Assessment System (ICDAS) is widely used for early caries detection but relies on visual interpretation. Although spectrophotometry objectively quantifies tooth color, variation across ICDAS categories and its relationship with lesion severity remain unclear. The present in vitro study therefore

ABSTRACT Background and Aim During peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) for achalasia, endoscopic esophagogastric junction (EGJ) opening is generally considered a sign of successful myotomy. However, in clinical practice, the EGJ may appear to open immediately after submucosal tunneling, even before myotomy is performed.

Near-Infrared Imaging for Detecting Caries and Structural Deformities in Teeth
2-D radiographs, while commonly used for evaluating sub-surface hard structures of teeth, have low sensitivity for early caries lesions, particularly those on tooth occlusal surfaces.

Pg releases OMVs which contain Pg genomic DNA. The Pg OMVs‐associated DNA is incorporated into astrocytes via endocytosis and increases IL‐6 mRNA expression via TLR9. These effects of Pg OMVs may induce neuroinflammation, which could contribute to the onset and progression of AD in periodontal disease.

A single amino acid change (L108I) combined with PrP overexpression drives spontaneous atypical prion formation in mice, enabling also efficient propagation of diverse prion strains. This model allows studying how spontaneous prion diseases arise and provides powerful tools for investigating strain emergence, transmission barriers, and mechanisms ...

ABSTRACT Background AI‐based dentistry has advanced significantly in recent years. AI models like deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) have paved the way for new approaches to image diagnostics and early risk prediction, making patient treatment plans more personalized. Aim The objective of this study was to assess the explainability, bias, and

ω‐3PUFAs Inhibit Gallbladder Cancer Through Enhancing STK31 Methylation
ABSTRACT Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is an aggressive malignancy with limited treatment options. ω‐3PUFAs have known anticancer activity, but their role in GBC remains unclear. The anti‐GBC effects of ω‐3PUFAs (DHA/EPA) were evaluated using in vitro assays and mouse xenograft models.
