Satellite Transition Spectroscopy of Quadrupolar Nuclei

1994
Magic-angle sample spinning (MAS) has had a major impact on several aspects of the development of NMR and its application to solid state physics and chemistry. MAS was first used to average out dipolar broadening in 23Na NMR of monocrystalline sodium chloride, as published in 1958 by Andrew, Bradbury and Eades [1].

Micrographic Surgery for Satellites and In‐Transit Metastases of Malignant Melanoma

The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology, 1986
Abstract. Satellites and in‐transit metastases do not always forebode the systemic dissemination of malignant melanoma. Five patients with varying numbers of these lesions were successfully treated with the fixed‐tissue technique of micrographic surgery.

Wavelength predictions for the 1s2 2p - 1s2p3p satellite transitions

Solar Physics, 1986
The experimentally known energies of the 1s22s → 1s2s(1S, 3S)3p transitions are considered for lithium to calcium. Their differences from the corresponding He-like resonances are fitted to the atomic number by means of a polynomial function and, through interpolation, the wavelengths for nitrogen to sodium are calculated.

Analysis of the Sun Transit Outage Impact on the Inter-satellite Link of the Navigation Satellite

2012
For the global navigation satellite, when the two satellites which constitute an inter-satellite link are approximately in a line with the sun, generally the communication between them will be impacted by the sun transit outage. Based on the character of the native navigation satellite, this paper researched the sun transit outage impact theory ...
