A cell line from an anaplastic transitional cell carcinoma of human urinary bladder.
A cell line, TCCSUP, derived from an undifferentiated, Grade IV transitional cell carcinoma is described. The karyotype showed an abnormal distribution of chromosomes, with no obvious modal number.

Mixed epithelial and stromal tumour with extension to vesicoureteric junction
Mixed epithelial and stromal tumour (MEST) is an uncommon renal tumour with a tendency to protrude into the collecting system. We present a 50-year-old woman with a renal tumour extending up to the vesicoureteric junction (VUJ) who was suspected to have ...

Transitional cell carcinoma of the endometrium and endometrial carcinoma with transitional cell differentiation [PDF]
Transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) is rare in the female genital tract. Although it is most common in the ovary, small series of cases in the cervix have been reported, with isolated cases described in the fallopian tube, adnexa uteri, and endometrium.Eight cases of primary TCC involving the endometrium and 1 case of ovarian TCC metastatic to the ...

Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

A cell line (J82) was derived from a poorly differentiated, invasive, transitional-cell carcinoma, Stage T3. The cells have been propagated in vitro for 5 years and showed 100% aneuploidy and a mixed epithelial-fibroblastic morphology.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Malignant Brenner tumor: Two case reports
Malignant Brenner tumor (MBT) is a rare ovarian tumor that, given the infrequency of the disease, has not been well documented in the literature. Diagnosing MBT both radiographically and histologically remains a challenge.
