Beyond our backyard: Unravelling how social‐ecological fit drives the formation of inter‐regional collaborative networks for water governance in the Yellow River Basin

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 6, Page 1852-1868, June 2026.
Abstract The societal and biophysical permeability across human‐demarcated jurisdictions within watersheds necessitates collaboration among administrative regions. The effectiveness of such collaboration is partly determined by the degree to which institutional arrangements align with underlying social and ecological interdependencies, a concept ...

Pharmacological Interventions for Hereditary Transthyretin‐Related Amyloidosis With Polyneuropathy: Systematic Review and Network Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neurology, Volume 33, Issue 6, June 2026.
We conducted a systematic review and network meta‐analysis on pharmacological therapies for ATTRv‐PN. Gene‐silencing therapies were more efficacious than stabilizers for neurological and quality‐of‐life outcomes; there were no differences in serious adverse events.

Between Transition and Back to Normal

open access: yesSeminar.net
The Covid-19 pandemic had a massive impact on school education around the world. Digital media thus became an integral part of school life, and the question arises as to how this development has affected digital education in primary schools and what the long-term effects of this change have been.

Short‐Term Topical Retinol Use Is Associated With Improved Pore‐Related Parameters and Shifts in the Facial Skin Microbiome

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Retinol is widely used for acne‐prone skin and is known to affect keratinization and sebum‐related processes. However, longitudinal human data on how topical retinol use relates to changes in the facial skin microbiome remain limited.

Supporting sexual minority adolescents: A critical realist thematic analysis of psychological therapists' experiences

open access: yesPsychology and Psychotherapy: Theory, Research and Practice, Volume 99, Issue 2, Page 684-704, June 2026.
Abstract Objectives Sexual minority adolescents experience elevated rates of psychological distress, influenced by societal stigma and heteronormativity. Psychological therapists can play a key role in supporting identity development and advocating for systemic change.

On the tightness of left‐invariant contact structures

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We prove that all left‐invariant contact structures on three‐dimensional Lie groups are tight. The argument is based on Riemannian methods and establishes a unique factorization property for any Lie group admitting a left‐invariant contact structure, other than SU(2)$\mathrm{SU}(2)$. We then make use of such factorization property to construct

QUOTIENTS, EQUIVALENCE RELATIONS, AND NORMALITY IN NON-ASSOCIATIVE ALGEBRA WITH REGARDS TO LOOPS AND QUASIGROUPS

open access: yes
This thesis will contain a detailed overview of relations, quotients, normality, loops, quasigroups, and related theorems and varieties. Nonassociative algebra is a relatively new area of mathematics, it came about in the past hundred years, and has ...

Cohomogeneity‐one solitons in Laplacian flow: Local, smoothly‐closing and steady solitons

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We initiate a systematic study of cohomogeneity‐one solitons in Bryant's Laplacian flow of closed G2$\text{G}_2$‐structures on a 7‐manifold, motivated by the problem of understanding finite‐time singularities of that flow. Here, we focus on solitons with symmetry groups Sp(2)${\rm Sp}(2)$ and SU(3)${\rm SU}(3)$; in both cases, we prove the ...

Automorphism groups of P1$\mathbb {P}^1$‐bundles over geometrically ruled surfaces

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We classify the pairs (X,π)$(X,\pi)$, where π:X→S$\pi \colon X\rightarrow S$ is a P1$\mathbb {P}^1$‐bundle over a non‐rational geometrically ruled surface S$S$ and Aut∘(X)$\mathrm{Aut}^\circ (X)$ is relatively maximal, that is, maximal with respect to the inclusion in the group Bir(X/S)$\mathrm{Bir}(X/S)$.
