Structure theorems for braided Hopf algebras

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 18, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract We develop versions of the Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt and Cartier–Milnor–Moore theorems in the setting of braided Hopf algebras. To do so, we introduce new analogs of a Lie algebra in the setting of a braided monoidal category, using the notion of a braided operad.

Quantifying diagnostic signal decay in dementia: a national study of Medicare hospitalization data

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 21, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Artificial intelligence (AI) models in healthcare require accurate diagnostic data. In dementia, diagnostic ambiguity and inconsistent coding may distort data quality. METHODS This cohort study analyzed 2016 to 2018 Medicare Part A hospitalization claims across 3000+ U.S. counties.

Shaping Social Eye Contact in Children With Autism Via Telehealth: A Parent‐Implemented Intervention

open access: yesBehavioral Interventions, Volume 40, Issue 4, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Lack of social eye contact is a common characteristic of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and can limit opportunities for social interaction and social learning. The current study examined a parent‐implemented shaping procedure delivered through telehealth to promote eye contact during naturalistic social play for two preschool‐aged children ...

Comparing Effectiveness and Safety of Left Atrial Appendage Closure Devices: A Network Meta‐Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 48, Issue 11, November 2025.
In this network meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials comparing Watchman, Amplatzer Amulet, and/or anticoagulation, we found evidence that Amulet was associated with significantly greater risk of pericardial effusion than Watchman (RR = 2.12). Safety and effectiveness of these devices were otherwise comparatively similar.

On 3‐Designs From P G L ( 2 , q )

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Designs, Volume 33, Issue 11, Page 428-432, November 2025.
ABSTRACT The group P G L ( 2 , q ) acts 3‐transitively on the projective line G F ( q ) ∪ { ∞ }. Thus, an orbit of its action on the k‐subsets of the projective line is the block set of a 3‐ ( q + 1 , k , λ ) design. We find the parameters of the designs formed by the orbit of a block of the form 〈 θ r 〉 or 〈 θ r 〉 ∪ { 0 }, where θ is a primitive ...
