Long-term spectral and photometric observations of transit and nontransit exoplanet systems are carried out in MAO NAS of Ukraine. On the base of obtained data we study the influence of exoplanets on chromospherical activity of the host stars, model the ...

In this paper we apply a novel JAVA version of a model on the homeostasis of human red blood cells (RBCs) to investigate the changes RBCs experience during single capillary transits.

The precision of time registration with Danjon astrolabe [PDF]
During 1988 at the Munich, Vienna and Graz stations selected stars were observed for the purpose of determining difference in the longitudes. The measurements were performed with Danjon astrolabe by using the method of equal zenith distances. In

We present the first analysis of JWST near-infrared spectroscopy of stellar flares from TRAPPIST-1 during transits of rocky exoplanets. Four flares were observed from 0.6–2.8 μ m with the Near Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph and 0.6–3.5 μ m ...

Transition systems without transitions
The concept of Partial 2-Structures (P2Ss) as an abstract form of directed graph with labeled edges was introduced by A. Ehrenfeucht and G. Rozenberg. The problem of embedding P2Ss into set 2-structures is studied in the paper. An alternative (to Ehrenfeucht and Rozenberg's approach) representation of P2Ss that are complete graphs is proposed.

TESS Spots a Super-puff: The Remarkably Low Density of TOI-1420b
We present the discovery of TOI-1420b, an exceptionally low-density ( ρ = 0.08 ± 0.02 g cm ^−3 ) transiting planet in a P = 6.96 days orbit around a late G-dwarf star.

Transit timing, depth, and duration variation in exoplanet TrES-2?
We report on our ongoing search for timing, duration, and depth variations in the exoplanet TrES-2. In Raetz et al. (2009) we already presented ten different transits obtained at the University Observatory Jena.

For the majority of short-period exoplanets transiting massive stars with radiative envelopes, the spin angular momentum of the host star is greater than the planetary orbital angular momentum.

Radiation Songs and Transpacific Resonances of US Imperial Transits
This article listens to Marshallese radiation songs to hear how singers subject to US nuclear colonial practices—including US nuclear testing (1946–1958), extant displacement, and human radiation experimentation—continue to be ignored in official ...
