Denaturation of Water in Alkaline Melts
Vapor pressure measurements and ab initio molecular‐dynamics simulations reveal that in ultra‐alkaline media with base concentrations up to 70 mol L−1, the activity of water is dramatically reduced by strong bonding interactions. These disrupt traditional hydrogen bonding patterns, alter vapor‐liquid equilibria, and significantly change molecular ...

Process Modeling for Propylene Polymerization to Transfer Reaction Kinetics From Lab to Plant
The modeling approach combines an industrial model for a fourth‐generation Ziegler–Natta catalyst with lab‐scale derived kinetics of a novel fifth‐generation catalyst. By transferring intrinsic kinetics across scales, polypropylene production can be predicted. Accurate melt flow rate prediction is only obtained with an additional adjustment.

Surfactant‐modified nanoparticles adsorb at the oil–water interface, enabling interfacial stabilization and microemulsion formation. Abstract This study systematically investigated the interfacial behaviour of silicon dioxide (SiO2) and aluminium oxide (Al2O3) nanoparticles (NPs) functionalized with cationic (CTAB), anionic (SDS), and nonionic (Triton ...

ABSTRACT Motivated by the growing attention and concerns surrounding climate change and the potential role of institutional investors' ownership concentration (OC) in reducing corporations' greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, this article explores the relationship between various forms of institutional ownership and firms' GHG emission intensity. To do so,

ABSTRACT This study investigates the causal effects of mandated ESG disclosure on two key corporate financial outcomes: earnings quality and cost of capital. Using a panel dataset of 210 publicly listed firms from eight European Union countries between 2015 and 2024, the study exploits cross‐country variation in the timing and intensity of ESG ...
