Optical properties and flexural strength of translucent zirconia layered with high-translucent zirconia

open access: yesDental Materials Journal, 2019
This study investigated the optical properties and flexural strength of translucent TZP layered with high-translucent PSZ using resin cement of various shades. Zirconia specimens (translucent TZP; Zpex and high-translucent PSZ; ZpexSmile) were 13 mm in diameter, layered at thickness ratios of 0.3/0.7, 0.5/0.5, and 0.7/0.3 mm (ZpexSmile/Zpex), and then ...

Fluorescence of thulium-doped translucent zirconia

open access: yesDental Materials Journal, 2018
The fluorescence and physical properties of thulium-doped zirconia were investigated. A standard grade of zirconia (TZ-3Y-E) and two translucent dental zirconia materials (Zpex and Zpex Smile) were examined. The specimens were prepared by addition of 0-1.5 wt% Tm2O3 and then sintering.

Catalytic coatings on steel for low-temperature propane prereforming to solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) application [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Catalyst layers (4–20 lm) of rhodium (1 wt%) supported on alumina, titania, and ceria–zirconia (Ce0.5Zr0.5O2) were coated on stainless-steel corrugated sheets by dip-coating in very stable colloidal dispersions of nanoparticles in water.
