Research on the mechanism of drag reduction and efficiency improvement of hydraulic retarders with bionic non-smooth surface spoilers

open access: yesEngineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics, 2020
Idling power loss suppression techniques of hydraulic retarders in non-braking operating conditions are of great significance to improve vehicle driving efficiency.

Decreased Serum 5‐HT: Clinical Correlates and Regulatory Role in NMJ of MG

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Although 5‐Hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT) indirectly stimulates muscle contraction and participates in regulating Acetylcholine receptor (AChR) cluster homeostasis in cellular, animal, and clinical studies, evidence regarding its potential to modulate muscle contraction in myasthenia gravis (MG) remains limited.

Communication Enhancement Through Quantum Coherent Control of $N$ Channels in an Indefinite Causal-order Scenario

open access: yes, 2019
In quantum Shannon theory, transmission of information is enhanced by quantum features. Up to very recently, the trajectories of transmission remained fully classical.

Plasma Proteomic Signatures for Alzheimer's Disease: Comparable Accuracy to ATN Biomarkers and Cross‐Platform Validation

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background There is growing recognition of the potential of plasma proteomics for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) risk assessment and disease characterization. However, differences between proteomics platforms introduce uncertainties regarding cross‐platform applicability.

Autosomal Recessive Spastic Ataxia of Charlevoix‐Saguenay in Two Half‐Siblings

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Autosomal recessive spastic ataxia of Charlevoix‐Saguenay (ARSACS) is caused by biallelic pathogenic variants in the SACS gene. We report the clinical, radiologic and neurophysiologic features of a pair of half‐siblings who presented with progressive cerebellar ataxia, peripheral neuropathy and upper motor neuron signs.

Asymmetric transmission of linearly polarized light at optical metamaterials

open access: yes, 2010
We experimentally demonstrate a three-dimensional chiral optical metamaterial that exhibits an asymmetric transmission for forwardly and backwardly propagating linearly polarized light.
