An Aggregation‐Induced Polymerization Poly(Disulfide)‐Drug Nanoplatform for Autoimmune Uveitis Therapy via Inhibiting the cGAS‐STING Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cationic poly(disulfide)‐drug nanoplatform (LA/DexP) was developed to treat experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU). With potent blood‐retinal barrier penetrability, LA/DexP releases DSP in response to high ROS and scavenges cfDNA to inhibit the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway.

Design of Visualization Interface for Transmission Congestions

open access: yesEnergy Procedia, 2017
Abstract Visualization has been extensively applied in many areas, especially for the management of massive data and the display interface area. However, the complexity of grid connections in a large-scale power system is a challenging issue. For an efficient power system operation, it is necessary for electrical engineers and operators to analyze ...

BCG HSP70 Reprograms Macrophages via Central Trained Immunity to Suppress Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
BCG‐derived HSP70 (Dnak) safely induces central trained immunity via epigenetic, metabolic, and O‐GlcNAcylation reprogramming of bone marrow progenitors, driving tumor‐associated macrophages toward an M1‐like phenotype to suppress prostate cancer. ABSTRACT Trained immunity offers a promising yet clinically challenging strategy for cancer immunotherapy,

A Novel Pak1 Activator Ameliorates ER Stress for HFpEF Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic metabolic stress is a major contributor to HFpEF progression. Under prolonged metabolic stress, Pak1 activity becomes impaired, contributing to disrupted ER proteostasis, cardiomyocyte apoptosis, fibrosis, and diastolic dysfunction. Mechanistically, Pak1 overexpression activates the ERK1/2–MNK1–eIF4E signaling axis, promotes translational ...

Adaptive message sending rate control method based on channel congestion cost calculation in VANET

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2016
In VANET,sending beacon messages reliably played a vital role in cooperative awareness and collision avoidance, and changes of vehicle density in real traffic environment had a direct impact on channel load and will cause the channel congestion to a ...

CONGESTION MANAGEMENT IN TRANSMISSION NETWORK

open access: yesJournal of Energy : Energija, 2005
With electric energy market opening including all accompanying consequences (restructuring of electric power companies, unbundling, legislation change, creation of market and system operator, energy sector regulation, privatisation), conditions of transmission network operation and development planning have strongly changed.

The Geography of Success: A Spatial Analysis of Export Intensity in the Italian Wine Industry

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the paradox of how Italy's fragmented, SME‐dominated wine industry achieves global export success. Moving beyond purely firm‐centric explanations, we test whether export intensity is spatially dependent, clustering geographically in regional ecosystems.

When the River Runs Low: Heterogeneous Impacts of Transportation Disruptions on Local Grain Basis

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A substantial share of U.S. soybean and corn exports from the Midwest moves by barge along the Mississippi River system to export terminals in the Louisiana Gulf. Transportation costs between Midwestern grain elevators and export terminals create a wedge between prices at these locations, and shocks to these costs are partially passed on to ...
