A Distributed Delay Method for Event-Triggered Control of T–S Fuzzy Networked Systems With Transmission Delay

IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems, 2019
This paper presents the event-triggered control for Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy networked systems with transmission delay. An integral-based model is proposed for designing a new event-triggered scheme, which relies on the mean of the system state and the ...

Reduce Transmission Delay for Caching-Aided Two-Layer Networks

International Symposium on Information Theory, 2019
In this paper, we consider a two-layer caching-aided network, where a single server consisting of a library of N files connects with multiple relays, each equipped with a cache memory of M1 files and each relay connects with a distinct set of users, each

Event-Triggered Finite-Time Robust Filtering for a Class of State-Dependent Uncertain Systems With Network Transmission Delay

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Part 1: Regular Papers, 2019
In this paper, the event-triggered robust filtering problem is investigated for a class of network-based state-dependent uncertain systems in the sense of finite-time boundedness, considering network transmission delay.

Onboard Processing-Aided Transmission Delay Minimization for LEO Satellite Networks

IEEE Transactions on Communications
Low Earth Orbit Satellite Networks (LEO-SNs) have emerged as a promising paradigm for future space information networks. However, the time-varying topology, link intermittency, limited onboard resource and relatively long transmission distance imposed ...

Transmission delay and echo suppression

IEEE Spectrum, 1970
We are all aware that radio communication is not instantaneous. With the coming of satellite communication we have fallen prey to some of the consequences of telephony with long propagation time. So it is that when one person speaks to another via satellite link, he must wait perhaps 600 ms for a rejoinder.

Delayed transmission/reflection ratiometric reflectometry

SPIE Proceedings, 2009
A new Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) optical fiber interrogation system for distributed Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBGs), designated as Delayed Transmission/Reflection Ratiometric Reflectometry (DT3R), is presented. The Bragg wavelength shift of FBG, which varies according to temperature or strain, is estimated as the ratio of transmittance and ...

Transmission delay measurement for converter

SPIE Proceedings, 2010
This paper presents two various methods of transmission delay measurement for converter. One is group delay measurement method for multi-lever converter by means of high performance vector network analyzer. The other is envelope method used to determine the absolute delay of a converter using fast sampling scope.

Delay in light transmission through small apertures

Optics Letters, 2001
We demonstrate a technique for measuring pulse propagation time delays with 0.5-fs resolution by use of a widely available 100-fs pulsed laser. Using this technique, we measured the time delay of a light pulse transiting through subwavelength apertures placed on a 0.3-mum metallic film.

Triple Loop Networks with Minimal Transmission Delay

International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 1997
A multiloop network is a Cayley digraph of the additive group ℤm of integers modulo m generated by a set A of k ≥ 2 "steps". Because of their application to the computer network design, multiloop networks have been studied extensively. Given an integer d ≥ 2 and a real number r > 1, let m(d,3) be the maximum size of a triple loop network with ...
