In the work reported herein, dipole‐engineered sulfonated carbon nanofibers enable conductive additives to actively regulate interphase formation in silicon anodes. Polar sulfonyl groups guide electrolyte decomposition to form a compact LiF‐rich interphase while promoting robust integration with silicon.

A graded‐interface hydrogel‐polymer electrolyte decouples water activity to simultaneously stabilize the Zn anode and sustain cathode kinetics. The flexible design supports dendrite‐free cycling over 1600 h, high capacity in both MnO2 and V2O5 full cells, and stable pouch‐cell performance under bending, resolving the fundamental water conflict in ...

ANALYSIS OF POWER TRANSMISSION POLES
Analysis of high voltage transmission poles has been made using different techniques employing their loading. Due to large displacements produced. the secondary effects have to be accounted for in the solution of pole structure. Therefore.

Impact of Water-Induced Corrosion on the Structural Security of Transmission Line Steel Pile Poles
In addressing the impact of corrosion on the structural integrity of steel transmission line poles, this study explores the variation in load-bearing capacity under water-related corrosion conditions using the finite element method.

Solution‐processed Cu(bdc) forms prototypical MOF thin films for which a multitude of not fully satisfactory structural models have been suggested. Combining rotating grazing‐incidence diffraction and X‐ray reflectivity on two complementary samples with density‐functional theory, we first discard the previously suggested models and then identify a non ...

The most common failures of electric generators at dumpers BELAZ 75135 [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to point out the electrical equipment that is subject to frequent break-downs in BELAZ dumpers75135, 75145 and other types of dumper trucks that are represented in our mines especially in open-pit mines. The transmission of power

Mesoblends consist of a nanostructured polymer into which a second polymer is imbibed with a selective solvent. In this work, a solvent‐templatable pentablock terpolymer possessing a sulfonated midblock is modified with a hydrophilic polymer that is photocrosslinked in situ, yielding a hierarchical binetwork.

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...
