The proposed method is based on an optical system supported by machine learning, that allows to monitoring dynamic of C‐reactive protein (CRP) level changes in near‐real time. Monitoring the presence level of CRP in wastewater might be used to track the spread of diseases or identify areas with increased morbidity.

Voltage over‐scaling CNT‐based 8‐bit multiplier by high‐efficient GDI‐based counters
A new low‐power and high‐speed multiplier is presented based on voltage over scaling (VOS) technique and new 5:3 and 7:3 counter cells. VOS technique is used to reduce power consumption in digital circuits, but different voltage levels of the VOS increase the delay in different stages of a multiplier.

Fast‐switchable polarization‐dependent bifocal lenses for AR displays
Polarization‐dependent bifocal Pancharatnam‐Berry phase lenses, fabricated via photoalignment, integrate bifocal functionality for AR displays. An electrically suppressed helix ferroelectric liquid crystal polarization rotator enables rapid switching (35 μs) between dual depths or field‐of‐views (FOVs) in longitudinal and transverse configurations ...

Abstract This work studies the equalization methods for the reduced zero‐padding version of the orthogonal time frequency space modulation. Here, the focus is on applications in low data rate scenarios such as the Internet of Things, and the case where the number of subcarriers and time slots are small will be considered.
