Influence of Transmission Lines on Dynamic Characteristics of Transmission Tower

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2021
Abstract The influence of transmission lines on dynamic characteristics of transmission tower should not be ignored due to the heavy quality of transmission lines. The finite element models of independent tower and transmission tower-line system are established by ANSYS.

Long‐Term Neurologic Exam Findings in People Diagnosed and Treated During Acute HIV Infection

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Evaluate clinical and laboratory correlates of abnormal neurologic exam findings after acute HIV infection (AHI). Methods Participants from the RV254/SEARCH 010 cohort in Bangkok underwent standardized neurologic examinations at Weeks 0 (AHI), 12, 96, and 288 following antiretroviral therapy (ART).

Agreement technologies applied to transmission towers maintenance [PDF]

open access: yesAI Communications, 2017
Among the most indispensable elements required by a city is electric power and the transmission towers used for its distribution. These towers have underground electrodes which must be reviewed on a regular basis by controlling different parameters to ensure that electrical resistance is in a secure range in order to avoid problems and risks.

Gravity‐Dependent Modulation of Downbeat Nystagmus: Insights From Velocity‐Storage Dysfunction

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Downbeat nystagmus varies with head position, a phenomenon termed gravity‐dependent modulation. We aimed to clarify its mechanism using a velocity‐storage model. Methods In 10 patients with downbeat nystagmus due to cerebellar disorders, we recorded eye movements at different pitch‐ and roll‐axis head positions.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.
