Transmitarray based Metasurface Lens Antenna

2019 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting, 2019
A transmitarray metasurface design is proposed to function as an integrated lens antenna within the frequency range of 11.6 GHz to 13.25 GHz. A finite periodic array of three-layer metallo-dielectric discrete unit cells is used to form the transmitarray lens.

Design of a Low-profile Transmitarray Antenna

2019 Photonics & Electromagnetics Research Symposium - Fall (PIERS - Fall), 2019
A low-profile transmitarray antenna consisting of single-layer substrate is proposed at 20 GHz. The element is formed by dual layers of cross rings and dipoles etched on the substrate and connected through metallic vias. The location and amount of vias as well as the dipole lengths are varied to realize a reasonable transmission phase swing and ...

Transmitarray Antenna with Rectangular Ring Patch at 28 GHz

2020 27th International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT), 2020
In order to support the potential use of millimeter waves in future wireless communication systems, some explorations in antennas with enhanced gain are performed. In the last decade, the transmitarray antenna has been considered as a low cost and simple antenna that can support high gain by making an approach based on combination of two main concepts,

W‐Band High‐Efficiency Low‐Profile Four‐Folded Transmitarray Antenna Based on Dual‐Phase Compensation Strategy

Microwave and optical technology letters (Print)
A novel high‐efficiency low‐profile four‐folded transmitarray antenna (FTA) is proposed. The FTA is composed of a dual‐functional transmit‐reflected array (TRA) and a polarized conversion surface (PCS) based on single‐layer PCB. The work proposed a novel
