Transmitter Coils Design for Free-Positioning Omnidirectional Wireless Power Transfer System
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2019Recently, omnidirectional wireless power transfer systems have been studied intensely due to their improved flexibility when compared with their planar counterparts.

Every new generation of mobile systems should provide higher capacity, serve more users, be more energy efficient, and have lower cost. Radio-access hardware constitutes a major bottleneck for reaching these goals, which is a particularly noticeable ...

Applied Optics, 2005
Many current rapid transmittance algorithms, specifically the Optical Path Transmittance (OPTRAN), are based on use of effective transmittances to account for the effects of polychromatic radiation on the transmittance calculations. We document how OPTRAN was modified by replacing the effective transmittance concept with a correction term.

Multistatic Localization in the Absence of Transmitter Position
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2019A multistatic system uses a transmitter to illuminate the object of interest and collects the reflected signal by a number of receivers to determine its location.

Terrestrial Broadcasting Transmitters and Transmitter Stations [PDF]
This chapter describes the design and operation of terrestrial broadcasting and transmitting stations. The geographical location of a terrestrial broadcasting station is always chosen to suit its coverage area.

GABA: a pioneer transmitter that excites immature neurons and generates primitive oscillations.
Physiological Reviews, 2007Developing networks follow common rules to shift from silent cells to coactive networks that operate via thousands of synapses. This review deals with some of these rules and in particular those concerning the crucial role of the neurotransmitter gamma ...

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2018
The paper proposes optimal driving conditions of two transmitters (TXs) in magnetic wireless power transfer, where the couplings from each TX to an RX are not identical.

Putative Transmitters and Transmitter Candidates
1978In the last few years, many materials have been proposed as neurotransmitters and await rigorous evaluation of their qualifications. In this chapter we will discuss briefly some of the amino acids and amines which are possible candidates, just as in Chapter 10 we considered peptides which are presently being studied from this point of view.

Acetylcholine: a Central Transmitter? [PDF]
rl comparison is drawn between the effects produced by acetylcholine electrophoretically applied to Renshaw cells of the spinal cord and to thalamic and other neurones. A considerable literature exists under the general title of "Acetylcholine as a central synaptic transmitter" and no purpose would be served by reviewing it.

Context-dependent effects of radio transmitter attachment on a small passerine
, 2017Biotelemetry devices provide unprecedented insights into the spatial behaviour and ecology of many animals. Quantifying the potential effects of attaching such devices to animals is essential, but certain effects may appear only in specific or ...
