The characteristics and corrections of ventral support interferences in the transonic-speed wind tunnel for the blended-wing-body aircraft

open access: yesAdvances in Aerodynamics
For the problem of ventral support interference in a transonic-speed wind tunnel with the blended-wing-body aircraft NPU-BWB-300 installed, the numerical simulation method based on Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) equations is used to study the ...

Convergence of transonic wind tunnel test results of the AGARD-B standard model [PDF]

open access: yesFME Transactions, 2020
AGARD-B is a widely-used configuration of a standard wind tunnel model. Beside its originally intended application for correlation of data from supersonic wind tunnel facilities, it was tested in a wide range of Mach numbers and, more recently, used for ...

Biodegradable Acoustic Targeting for Ultrasound‐Supported Gene Therapy (BATUS) in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most challenging brain malignancies due to the restrictive nature of the blood–brain barrier (BBB), which severely limits effective drug and gene delivery. To overcome this, we introduce Biodegradable Acoustic Targeting for Ultrasound‐Supported Gene Therapy (BATUS), a modular platform that enables safe ...

Ultralow‐Power Floating‐Gate InGaZnO Content‐Addressable Memory for Wearable Electrocardiogram Anomaly Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study introduces a subthreshold in‐memory anomaly detection architecture for wearable ECG monitoring using floating‐gate IGZO content‐addressable memories on a flexible substrate. Area‐engineered coupling provides a high subthreshold slope, while subthreshold operation realizes intrinsic exponential distance evaluation and linear voltage sensing ...

Mixed Ion‐Electron Thermoelectric Generators With Ionogels Blended With MXene Continuously Harvesting Heat Under Both Steady and Fluctuated Temperature Gradients

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A mixed ion‐electron thermoelectric generator (MTEG) based on MXene ionogels converts both steady and fluctuating temperature gradients into continuous electricity. The hybrid conduction arises from electron tunneling through MXene networks and ionic diffusion driven by the Soret effect, enabling stable voltage output and high thermopower for efficient

Three-Dimensional Flutter Numerical Simulation of Wings in Heavy Gas and Transonic Flutter Similarity Law Correction Method

open access: yesAerospace
Wind tunnel testing is a crucial method for studying aircraft flutter. Using heavy gas as the wind tunnel medium can mitigate the escalating issue of test models being overweight as advanced aircraft develop.

Transient Charging Dynamics in Stacked Ga2O3/ZnO Photovoltaic Units Governing Wavelength‐Selective Polarity Switching

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This work reveals a “Photovoltaic‐Capacitance” coupling mechanism in stacked Ga2O3/ZnO devices, defining the ZnO/graphene interface as a novel Photovoltaic Dynamic‐Capacitor (PDC). The wavelength‐selective bipolar response enables a physical layer secure communication protocol based on ternary optical logic (“1,” “0,” “−1”).

Computational and Experimental Study of a Transonic All-Movable Fin With Freeplay

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering
This study presents an aeroelastic wind tunnel model of a transonic all-movable fin with freeplay. To investigate the aeroelastic behavior under combined nonlinearities, both numerical simulation and wind tunnel testing were conducted.
