Comparative characteristics of various methods of osteosynthesis in wounded subjects with gunshot lesions of long bones

open access: yesBolʹ, Sustavy, Pozvonočnik
Background. In the structure of combat injuries, gunshot wounds of the limbs prevail, which make up 50–80 % of all wounds, of which 57.3 % have multiple injuries of the limbs. At least one-quarter of all combat injuries involve the lower extremities. The

TRANSOSSEOUS OSTEOSYNTHESIS FOR IMPRESSED-COMPRESSION CALCANE-OUS FRACTURES

open access: yes, 2023
Abstract The article deals with the specifics of the most severe types of calcaneus fractures – impressed-compression fractures. Transosseous osteosynthesis with Ilizarov and other external fixators for bloodless sparing reposition is optimal treatment of these fractures.

[Improving the reposition of fragments in transosseous osteosynthesis].

open access: yesOrtopediia travmatologiia i protezirovanie, 1990
As the practice of perosseous osteosynthesis has demonstrated, it is rather difficult to achieve a high accuracy of reposition using a closed technique. The authors offer the simplest and a biomechanically advisable reposition system of the compression and distraction apparatus. The use of such technique proves its efficacy and advantages.

Postoperative complications in transosseous compression-distraction osteosynthesis

open access: yesKazan medical journal, 1991
Treatment of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system with external fixation methods has been practiced for a long time and is deservedly considered one of the most effective in the arsenal of orthopedic traumatologists. For the first time, transosseous osteosynthesis with the simplest apparatus was used in 1629 by Fabricius Hildanus.
