A metric for the measurement of passively transparent behavior in communication chains
In this paper, we present a method for empirically measuring the extent to which social institutions actively cooperate in the provision of public information. The method described here allows researchers to collect accurate empirical data corresponding to specific items of requested information to produce presentable meta-data on the information ...

Modifying the lifetime of an unstable system by an intense electromagnetic field [PDF]
We study the temporal behavior of a three-level system (such as an atom or a molecule), initially prepared in an excited state, bathed in a laser field tuned at the transition frequency of the other level. We analyze the dependence of the lifetime of the

Real and virtual photons in an external constant electromagnetic field of most general form
The photon behavior in an arbitrary superposition of constant magnetic and electric fields is considered on most general grounds basing on the first principles like Lorentz- gauge- charge- and parity-invariance.

Young Chinese Consumer Decision Making in Buying Green Products: An Application of Theory of Planned Behavior with Gender and Price Transparency [PDF]
As environmental awareness increases, consumers tend to focus more on environmental friendly products. The literature on green consumption has recently focused on the Asian markets, in particular, the populous country of the world ’china’. Despite many

This study demonstrates a novel, additive manufacturing approach to produce complex, porous tungsten carbide structures using water‐based direct ink writing/robocasting. Leveraging a modified commercial printer and heat treatment, the process yields lightweight, electrically conductive 3D architectures capable of supporting a mechanical load.

Central Banks and Information Provided to the Private Sector [PDF]
This paper examines the information provided to the private sector by central banks. By using the principal component analysis, we investigated the variance of the procedural rules followed by nine major central banks about information treatments.

Price Transparency in the Voluntary Price Reporting System for Live Cattle: Theory and Empirical Evidence [PDF]
Interregional spatial linkages between South Dakota and Nebraska cash markets for slaughter cattle are investigated. Econometric procedures are used to test whether a thinning market effect or strategic price reporting behavior by packers has degraded ...
