Homologous Marrow Transplantation in Rabbits After Triethylenethiophosphoramide

Archives of Surgery, 1958
Triethylenethiophosphoramide ( T h i o-TEPA), the sulfur derivative of triethylenephosphoramide, has been found to be active in preventing metastases of rat mammary adenocarcinoma. 1 Clinically, temporary regression of human breast carcinoma has also been obtained, 2-4 this drug being one of the few so far discovered with a definite effect on malignant

Homologous nerve transplantation and immunosuppression in rabbits

Research in Experimental Medicine, 1981
Homologous nerve transplantation is a logical method of bridging major nerve defects but its usefulness is negated by immune rejection. The discovery of an effective method of immunosuppression would allow utilisation of this technique. The present study compared the effects of irradiation, dexamethasone, and chloramphenicol in homologous nerve ...

Influence of age on calcification in homologous transplants in rats

Experientia, 1969

Vertebral body replacement with homologous femoral head transplants

International Orthopaedics, 1991
From 1978 to 1989, we carried out 15 resections of single vertebral bodies, with homologous femoral head transplantation, for malignant and benign lesions of the spine. The advantages of this procedure are compared to fixation with bone cement, autologous bone grafts and other materials. The results are discussed.
