Phylogenomic insights into helmet evolution in neotropical treehoppers (Hemiptera: Membracidae): Conserved morphological complexity across five subfamilies

open access: yesSystematic Entomology, Volume 51, Issue 1, January‐March 2026.
Phylogenomic analyses of 2539 nuclear loci reveal robust relationships among major Membracidae lineages. Helmet shape complexity shows strong phylogenetic conservatism across genera, tribes and subfamilies. Pronotal modularity evolves across lineages, highlighting the developmental diversity of treehopper morphologies. Abstract We utilized genomic data

Un modèle d'érosion des torrents en crue (ETC)

open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 1996
La modélisation des phénomènes d'érosion et de transport solide dans les bassins versants est un objectif majeur de la recherche sur les risques résultant des crues torrentielles. Le modèle ETC global, spatialisable et événementiel, cherche à représenter

High Frequency Dynamics and Third Cumulant of Quantum Noise

open access: yes, 2008
The existence of the third cumulant $S_{3}$ of voltage fluctuations has demonstrated the non-Gaussian aspect of shot noise in electronic transport. Until now, measurements have been performed at low frequency, \textit{i.e.} in the classical regime $\hbar

A Workflow for Selecting, Profiling, and Optimizing Plant Extracts for Cosmetic Applications

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 22, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT In response to the growing demand for innovative natural ingredients in cosmetics, this study proposes a structured approach to identifying bioactive plant species available in France. From 1614 species screened for regulatory acceptability and innovation potential, 18 were shortlisted for phytochemical profiling (high‐performance liquid ...

Insight Into the Role of Polymers in the Bulk Synthesis of MgF2 for the Fluorination of 2‐Chloropyridine

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 17, Issue 23, December 8, 2025.
MgF2 is one of the most active catalysts for the Cl/F exchange in the transformation of 2‐chloropyridine. The presence of a structuring agent such as PMMA or Pluronic F68 as polymers, leads to a higher specific surface area after HF treatment (around 30%) corresponding to a higher catalytic activity.

Infrared Properties of Electron Doped Cuprates: Tracking Normal State Gaps and Quantum Critical Behavior in Pr(2-x)Ce(x)CuO(4)

open access: yes, 2004
We report the temperature dependence of the infrared-visible conductivity of Pr(2-x)Ce(x)CuO(4) thin films. When varying the doping from a non-superconducting film (x = 0.11) to a superconducting overdoped film (x = 0.17), we observe, up to optimal ...

Gathering Intelligence for Robust Crisis Governance: A Literature Review and Research Agenda

open access: yesRisk, Hazards &Crisis in Public Policy, Volume 16, Issue 4, December 2025.
ABSTRACT The COVID‐19 crisis has highlighted the critical role and challenges of information processing during turbulent times. While expert knowledge can reassure citizens, it may also seem exclusive, and government communication often risks being overwhelming or unclear.

First occurrence of Etiella zinckenella (Treitschke) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) in soybean crops in Greece and its potential parasitoid Dolichogenidea appellator (Telenga) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)

open access: yesEPPO Bulletin, Volume 55, Issue 3, Page 494-502, December 2025.
Abstract This work documents the first occurrence of Etiella zinckenella (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) infestations in soybean crops in Greece, and in particular within the Regional Unit of Drama, north‐eastern Greece. Larvae of this pest inflict direct damage by feeding on seeds and cause indirect damage by reducing crop marketability, resulting in ...
