Time-Dependent Thermal Transport Theory [PDF]
Understanding thermal transport in nanoscale systems presents important challenges to both theory and experiment. In particular, the concept of local temperature at the nanoscale appears difficult to justify. Here, we propose a novel theoretical approach where we replace the temperature gradient with controllable external black-body radiations.

Transport Theory of Massless Fields [PDF]
Using the Schwinger-Keldysh technique we discuss how to derive the transport equations for the system of massless quantum fields. We analyse the scalar field models with quartic and cubic interaction terms.

Invariant Imbedding and Neutron Transport Theory IV-Generalized Transport Theory [PDF]
Abstract : The aim of the paper is to extend previous results and techniques so as to include an extensive category of transport processes involving deterministic and stochastic interactions and general geometries. Characteristic func tions and probabilities as well as expected values (fluxes) are determined. (Author)

Methodical approaches to the distribution of actual costs of railway infrastructure in conditions of fuzzy indeterminacy [PDF]
The authors propose methodical approaches to the distribution of actual maintenance costs for the station infrastructure of the track facility, as well as the signalling and communication facility of each station, as well as the distribution of cost ...

Many-body theory of electronic transport in single-molecule heterojunctions [PDF]
A many-body theory of molecular junction transport based on nonequilibrium Green's functions is developed, which treats coherent quantum effects and Coulomb interactions on an equal footing.

Multiband effects in equations of motion of observables beyond the semiclassical approach
The equations of motion (EOM) for the position and gauge invariant crystal momentum are considered for multiband wave packets of Bloch electrons. For a localized packet in a subset of bands well-separated from the rest of the band structure of the ...
