Nuclear Transport Limited (NTL) has been transporting irradiated uranium oxide fuel elements from Pressurised Water Reactors (PWR) and Boiling Water Reactors (BWR) in Europe to the reprocessing plants of British Nuclear Fuels plc (BNFL) at Sellafield in England and COGEMA at Cap La Hague in France since 1972.
