Transradial renal stenting: Why and how
Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, 2009AbstractTransradial vascular access for invasive procedures is gaining increasingly acceptance due to reduced accessâsite complications and improved patient's comfort compared with transfemoral. However, the adoption of transradial access in peripheral vascular procedures is actually limited by anatomical and technical considerations.

Transradial Approach for Stroke
2021Abstract Performing a mechanical thrombectomy via the radial approach is a critical skill to be learned in the armamentarium of the neurointerventionalist. In addition to potential safety advantages, patient anatomy often renders femoral access to the internal carotid artery impossible.

Mechatronic Design of a Transradial Cybernetic Hand
2008 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2008This paper presents the mechatronic design of an anthropomorphic 16 degree of freedom, 4 degree of mobility prosthetic hand for use by transradial amputees. Underactuated fingers and differential mechanisms have been used in order to fit all the functional components (actuators, sensors and electronics) in the size of a human hand.

Transradial Peripheral Interventions
2017Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is the consequence of atherosclerosis in the arteries of carotid, vertebral, abdominal mesenteric, renal, and extremity arteries. Patients presenting PAD are at significant threat of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, primarily due to stroke (from cerebrovascular atherosclerosis) and myocardial infarction (from ...
