Programmable microwave transversal filter using acousto-optic tunable filtering
SPIE Proceedings, 2007 Electronically programmable, broadband analog Radio Frequency (RF) transversal filter architecture is proposed and implemented using an Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter and a Chirped Fiber Bragg Grating. Proof-of-concept filter two-tap notch filters are demonstrated with a tunable range of 2-8 GHz and notch depth of 35 dB.

Dispersionless interleave filter based on transversal form optical filter
Electronics Letters, 2002 A new interleave filter (IF) is proposed based on a transversal form optical filter. The filter was fabricated on a silica-based planar lightwave circuit (PLC) and it was demonstrated that the proposed filter functions extremely well as an interleave filter with a dispersionless characteristic.
