Minimum phase CCD transversal filters

1977 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Digest of Technical Papers, 1977
The calculated and measured response of a minimum-phase CCD low-pass transversal filter is compared to a linear-phase design with the same magnitude characteristics. It is shown that the minimum-phase design can offer up to an order of magnitude improvement in group delay, and is also less sensitive to transfer inefficiency and tap-weight error than ...

Interleave filter based on coherent optical transversal filter

Journal of Lightwave Technology, 2006
The principle of the transversal interleave filter previously proposed as a novel class of interleave filter is described. The principle of a conventional 1 /spl times/ 1 coherent optical transversal filter is reviewed. Then, the fundamental operating principle and the three design conditions required for the novel interleave filter are explained.

Tunable microwave photonic transversal filter

International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies, 2015
We present a tapped tunable delay line filter for radiofrequency (RF) photonic filtering applications, capable of rapid tunability over a wide RF bandwidth limited only by the optical components’ losses, while maintaining independence from polarization state.

Transversal dielectric resonator filter design

Proceedings of 8th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference on Industrial Applications in Power Systems, Computer Science and Telecommunications (MELECON 96), 2002
This article describes a transversal dielectric resonator (D.R.) filter and the procedure which can be applied to design this device starting from the synthesis of conventional filter. An example of a three poles transversal structure is presented. The result is compare to a rigorous analyse using the three dimensional finite element method.

An adaptive transversal filter VLSI

ICASSP '86. IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2005
This paper describes a hardware architecture of an adaptive transversal filter with long delay taps and its LSI implementation. We developed an adaptive transversal filter VLSI with 512 taps which is suitable for an echo canceller system. We developed a new compuatational method suitable for VLSI implementation, and clarified the required computation ...

An adaptive transversal filter

ICASSP '83. IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2005
A real time electronically programmable transversal filter with parallel architecture is described. The device is capable of operating at sampling rates in excess of 500KHz while maintaining high dynamic range. The device is built around an analog delay line designed using operational amplifiers and switching circuitry.

Transversal filters—a simple implementation

International Journal of Electronics, 1981
A method for implementing transversal fitters based on the conversion of the voltage input signal to the pulse width modulated form is described. The circuit proposed uses monostable multivibrators, analogue switches and operational amplifiers. An alternative scheme is also suggested.

Monolithic Surface Wave Transversal Filter

1977 Ultrasonics Symposium, 1977
Abstract : A monolithic surface wave transversal filter was designed, fabricated, and evaluated. The semiconductor and acoustic elements were developed on (001) p-type silicon oriented for acoustic transmission along the (100) direction. Surface acoustic waves were generated by zinc oxide film layer transducers into an array of 31 metal-gate NMOS ...
