Metal‐Ion Regulated Light‐Free Z→E Isomerization of Azobenzene Glycomacrocycle

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Metal ion‐catalyzed Z→E isomerization of photoswitchable azobenzene glycomacrocycle: A new azobenzene‐based glycomacrocycle is capable of forming a 1:1 complex with divalent metal ions in both E‐ and Z‐isomers. The complexes undergo light‐free Z→E isomerization in a timescale spanning from seconds to weeks.

Species diversity and community structure in trap-nesting bees in Southern Brazil [PDF]

open access: yesApidologie, 2005

Global Liquidity Trap [PDF]

open access: yes
Using a two-country New Open Economy Macroeconomics model, we analyze how monetary policy should respond to a "global liquidity trap," where the two countries may fall into a liquidity trap simultaneously.

Effect of Magnetic Islands on Neoclassical Heat Diffusivity in a Global Tokamak Simulation

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Resonant magnetic perturbations (RMPs) alter magnetic field topology via island formation and can modify core transport in toroidal fusion devices. Using the global gyrokinetic particle‐in‐cell code XGC‐S, originally developed for stellarator geometries, we quantify how island topology affects neoclassical heat transport in a circular tokamak ...

Artificial trap-nests: a useful tool to assess ants and myrmecophiles diversity .

open access: yesInsect Conservation and Diversity
Data set for original article untitled " Artificial trap-nests: a useful tool to assess ants and myrmecophiles diversity" by Fayne G. Estrella Aranda, Jean-Paul Lachaud and Gabriela Pérez-Lachaud, submitted for publication. Records on ants colonizing artificial trap-nests at two sites in southern Quintana Roo, Mexico, along with some of their ...

Habitat structure components are effective predictors of trap-nesting Hymenoptera diversity

open access: yesBasic and Applied Ecology, 2008
Abstract Habitat heterogeneity can be the major factor affecting species diversity in a community and measuring bee and wasp community habitat preferences in natural systems may provide insights for biodiversity management and conservation. In the present study, we investigate the effects of habitat structure components on solitary bee and wasp ...

Colony and nest site selection by roseate and common terms in the Azores archipelago - a multivariate analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Multivariate techniques were used to examine overall characteristics of colonies, and detailed characteristics of nest sites within colonies, of Roseate and Common terns in the Azores archipelago.

Climate‐driven resource availability drives medium‐ and broad‐scale temporal changes in owl–prey interactions over 24 years in a semi‐arid ecosystem

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Predator–prey interactions are vital to ecosystem functioning but may be disrupted by climate change. We investigated a food‐web network involving three owl species over 24 years in a semi‐arid ecosystem at Bosque Fray Jorge National Park, Chile.

Radical Listening as a Governance Innovation: Integrating Planetary Health and Community‐Led Forest Conservation in Indonesia

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While REDD+ prioritizes carbon sequestration, its narrow focus often overlooks forest‐health linkages critical to community well‐being. This paper examines the holistic model of Health in Harmony (HIH) and Alam Sehat Lestari (ASRI), which integrates forest conservation with healthcare through radical listening—a decolonial community engagement
