Arithmetic Operations on Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers
In this paper, several new algebraic mathematics for positive fuzzy numbers of type $(\overline{a}, \overline{\overline{a}}, \overline{\overline{\overline{a}}}, \overline{\overline{\overline{\overline{a}}}})$ are devised and do not need the computation of $\alpha$-cut of the fuzzy number.

A Simple Approximation of Productivity Scores of Fuzzy Production Plans [PDF]
This paper suggests a simple approximation procedure for the assessment of productivity scores with respect to fuzzy production plans. The procedure has a clear economic interpretation and all the necessary calculations can be performed in a spreadsheet ...

Ranking fuzzy numbers with integral value
[[abstract]]Ranking fuzzy numbers is important in decision making. Since very often the alternatives are evaluated by fuzzy numbers in a vague environment, a comparison between these fuzzy numbers is indeed a comparison between alternatives.

A Comparative Study of Latin Square Design Under Fuzzy Environments Using Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers [PDF]
This paper deals with the problem of Latin Square Design (LSD) test using Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers (Tfns.). The proposed test is analysed under various types of trapezoidal fuzzy models such as Alpha Cut Interval, Membership Function, Ranking Function,

In the real world, we are faced with many problems that cannot be easily described by crisp values, as there is always some uncertainty involved in real-life situations and in those situations, we end up receiving fuzzy values rather than crisp ones in ...

Ranking fuzzy numbers are an important aspect of decision making in a fuzzy environment. Since their inception in 1965, many authors have proposed different methods for ranking fuzzy numbers. However, there is no method which gives a satisfactory result

Quantified trapezoidal fuzzy numbers
The aim of this work is to construct quantified trapezoidal fuzzy numbers as an extension of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, by using modal intervals and accepting the possibility that the α-cuts of a trapezoidal fuzzy number may also be improper intervals ...

A New Approach Ranking of Exponential Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers [PDF]
45-47The main aim of this paper is to propose a new approach for the ranking of generalized exponential trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. The proposed ranking approach is based on rank and mode so it is named as an RM approach.
