Ki67 expression at Kasai portoenterostomy as a prognostic factor in patients with biliary atresia

open access: yesBJS Open, Volume 4, Issue 5, Page 873-883, October 2020., 2020
No consensus exists for predicting outcomes after Kasai portoenterostomy (KP) using liver histological findings. Simulated model of RAPID concept: highlighting innate inflammation and liver regeneration

open access: yesBJS Open, Volume 4, Issue 5, Page 893-903, October 2020., 2020
The mechanism of RAPID‐associated liver regeneration and its regulation remains unclear. A RAPID model in rats was developed involving cold ischaemia and reperfusion of the selected future liver remnant, portal vein ligation of the remaining segments during step I, and resection of the deportalized lobes during step II.
