Abstract Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is increasingly being used to treat posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) comorbid with major depressive disorder (MDD). Yet, identifying the most effective stimulation parameters remains an active area of research. We recently reported on the use of 5 Hz TMS to reduce PTSD and MDD symptoms.

Risk factors in early life for developmental coordination disorder: a scoping review
Aim To perform a scoping literature review of associations between risk factors in early life and developmental coordination disorder (DCD). Method PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, PsycINFO, and Web of Science (January 1994–March 2019) were searched to identify studies on early risk factors and motor impairment or DCD.

MRI cT1–2 rectal cancer staging accuracy: a population‐based study
This population‐based study determined the accuracy of routine daily MRI staging of early rectal cancer, whether or not combined with endorectal ultrasonography. The results showed that preoperative MRI led to substantial overstaging in patients who underwent local excision or total mesorectal incision surgery for cT1–2 rectal cancer, indicating the ...

Idiopathic acute pancreatitis recurs more often than acute pancreatitis of known cause. In at least some of these patients, standard diagnostics (laboratory tests, transabdominal ultrasonography) may fail to detect biliary disease. The literature on cholecystectomy as a preventive measure for recurrence of pancreatitis in presumed idiopathic acute ...

Radiomics approach to distinguish between well differentiated liposarcomas and lipomas on MRI
The distinction between well differentiated liposarcomas and lipomas is needed in order to provide the correct treatment approach for patients with these tumours, but is difficult to make without a biopsy. This study shows that radiomics can be used to make this distinction based on routinely obtained MRI. The resulting radiomics model performed better
