Trauma Center Designation and Outcomes
Journal of the American College of Surgeons, 2006It was interesting to review the recent publication comparing outcomes between trauma centers based on information from the National Trauma Data Bank. Having worked with database-related research, I have come to appreciate the difficulties in providing valid conclusions from analysis of data collected without rigorous standardization.
