Traveling wave solutions for an integrodifference equation of higher order
This article is concerned with the minimal wave speed of traveling wave solutions for an integrodifference equation of higher order. Besides the operator may be nonmonotone, the kernel functions may be not Lebesgue measurable and integrable such that the

Summary: We study a mathematical model of coastal waves in the shallow water approximation. The model contains two empirical parameters. The first one controls turbulent dissipation. The second one is responsible for the turbulent viscosity and is determined by the turbulent Reynolds number. We study travelling waves solutions to this model.

On traveling wave solutions of a class of KdV-Burgers-Kuramoto type equations
In the paper, the traveling wave solutions of a KdV–Burgers-Kuramoto type equation with arbitrary power nonlinearity are considered. Lie symmetry analysis method on the equation is performed, which shows that the equation possesses traveling wave ...

New periodic exact traveling wave solutions of Camassa–Holm equation
In Zhang et al. (2007) and Zhang (2021) we constructed all single-peak traveling wave solutions of the Camassa–Holm equation including some explicit solutions. In general it is a challenge to construct exact multi-peak traveling wave solutions.

Minimal Wave Speed in a Competitive Integrodifference System without Comparison Principle
We investigate the traveling wave solutions of a competitive integrodifference system without comparison principle. In the earlier conclusions, a threshold of wave speed is defined while the existence or nonexistence of traveling wave solutions remains ...

Symmetric Waves Are Traveling Waves
We show that horizontally symmetric water waves are traveling waves. The result is valid for the Euler equations, and is based on a general principle that applies to a large class of nonlinear partial differential equations, including some of the most famous model equations for water waves. A detailed analysis is given for weak solutions of the Camassa-
