Trees have always been important as natural entities carrying a strong symbolic and metaphorical weight, not to mention their practical uses. Therefore, words and their gender, used to name natural entities as important as trees and particularly fruit ...

On the Aα-Spectral Radii of Cactus Graphs
Let A ( G ) be the adjacent matrix and D ( G ) the diagonal matrix of the degrees of a graph G, respectively. For 0 ≤ α ≤ 1 , the A α -matrix is the general adjacency and signless Laplacian spectral matrix having the form of

Are birds dinosaurs? Answers to this question yield various responses, depending on a particular viewpoint. From the perspective of a common understanding of recent theories of the origin of birds and their potential precursor (ancestral) animals, then, yes, birds are a kind of dinosaur, having evolved from one or another non-avian dinosaur (Bostwick ...

This study presents a novel AI‐based diagnostic approach—comprehensive serum glycopeptide spectra analysis (CSGSA)—that integrates tumor markers and enriched glycopeptides from serum. Using a neural network model, this method accurately distinguishes liver and pancreatic cancers from healthy individuals.

Weakly connected domination critical graphs [PDF]
A dominating set \(D \subset V(G)\) is a weakly connected dominating set in \(G\) if the subgraph \(G[D]_w = (N_{G}[D],E_w)\) weakly induced by \(D\) is connected, where \(E_w\) is the set of all edges with at least one vertex in \(D\).

The Turán Number of the Graph 2P5
We give the Turán number ex (n, 2P5) for all positive integers n, improving one of the results of Bushaw and Kettle [Turán numbers of multiple paths and equibipartite forests, Combininatorics, Probability and Computing, 20 (2011) 837-853].

A survey of decision tree classifier methodology
A survey is presented of current methods for decision tree classifier (DTC) designs and the various existing issues. After considering potential advantages of DTCs over single-state classifiers, the subjects of tree structure design, feature selection at

ICP34.5 is one of the most important antihost response proteins. The saRNA‐encoding HSV‐1 neurovirulence protein ICP34.5 clearly mediated the eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha subunit (eIF2α) dephosphorylation and significant suppression of innate immune responses in vitro, leading to enhanced expression of the saRNA‐encoded gene.

Computing the Scale of an Endomorphism of a totally Disconnected Locally Compact Group
The scale of an endomorphism of a totally disconnected, locally compact group G is defined and an example is presented which shows that the scale function is not always continuous with respect to the Braconnier topology on the automorphism group of G ...

Comparative study of adenosine 3′‐pyrophosphokinase domains of MuF polymorphic toxins
With the ultimate goal of understanding the association of toxin‐immunity modules to temperate phages, we characterized toxins from three prophages and examined cross‐protection from immunity proteins. The toxins exhibit adenosine 3′‐pyrophosphokinase activity and are toxic in Escherichia coli.
