Top-down tree transducers with regular look-ahead [PDF]
Top-down tree transducers with regular look-ahead are introduced. It is shown how these can be decomposed and composed, and how this leads to closure properties of surface sets and tree transformation languages.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

The limiting equation for Neumann Laplacians on shrinking domains
Let ${Omega_{epsilon} }_{0 < epsilon le1}$ be an indexed family of connected open sets in ${mathbb R}^2$, that shrinks to a tree $Gamma$ as $epsilon$ approaches zero. Let $H_{Omega_{epsilon}}$ be the Neumann Laplacian and $f_{epsilon}$ be the restriction

The forest associated with the record process on a L\'evy tree [PDF]
We perform a pruning procedure on a L\'evy tree and instead of throwing away the removed sub-tree, we regraft it on a given branch (not related to the L\'evy tree).

Tree 2 – Decision Trees for Tree Structured Data [PDF]
We present Tree2, a new approach to structural classification. This integrated approach induces decision trees that test for pattern occurrence in the inner nodes. It combines state-of-the-art tree mining with sophisticated pruning techniques to find the most discriminative pattern in each node. In contrast to existing methods, Tree2 uses no heuristics

In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.

Choosing the exponent in the definition of the connectivity index [PDF]
Let du denote the degree of the vertex u of a molecular graph G. Then the connectivity index of G is defined as C (l) = G (l; C) = S (dudu)l, where the summation goes over all pairs of adjacent vertices. The exponent l is usually chosen to be equal to 1/

On the Aα-Spectral Radii of Cactus Graphs
Let A ( G ) be the adjacent matrix and D ( G ) the diagonal matrix of the degrees of a graph G, respectively. For 0 ≤ α ≤ 1 , the A α -matrix is the general adjacency and signless Laplacian spectral matrix having the form of

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.
