Mapping tree density at a global scale
The global extent and distribution of forest trees is central to our understanding of the terrestrial biosphere. We provide the first spatially continuous map of forest tree density at a global scale.

Image Ranking with Density Trees for Google Maps
ACM SIGGRAPH 2020 Talks, 2020We propose an unsupervised learning technique for image ranking of photos contributed by Google Maps users. A density tree is built for each point-of-interest (POI), such as The National Mall or the Louvre. This tree is used to construct clusters, which are then ranked based on size and quality.

The Double-Density Dual-Tree DWT
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2004This paper introduces the double-density dual-tree discrete wavelet transform (DWT), which is a DWT that combines the double-density DWT and the dual-tree DWT, each of which has its own characteristics and advantages. The transform corresponds to a new family of dyadic wavelet tight frames based on two scaling functions and four distinct wavelets.

Prevalence and strength of density‐dependent tree recruitment
Ecology, 2015Density dependence could maintain diversity in forests, but studies continue to disagree on its role. Part of the disagreement results from the fact that different studies have evaluated different responses (survival, recruitment, or growth) of different stages (seeds, seedlings, or adults) to different inputs (density of seedlings, density or distance

Tree structures construction using key densities
Proceedings of the 1975 annual conference on - ACM 75, 1975Storage structure alternatives exist for structuring symbol trees. Sequential structure is used in Trie and linked list structure is used in Doubly Chained Tree. A model of hybrid tree structures is presented which employs storage structures at levels where they are most efficient. The model parameters are determined by the densities of key components.

Neural tree density estimation for novelty detection
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, 1998In this paper, a neural competitive learning tree is introduced as a computationally attractive scheme for adaptive density estimation and novelty detection. The learning rule yields equiprobable quantization of the input space and provides an adaptive focusing mechanism capable of tracking time-varying distributions. It is shown by simulation that the
