Hybrid VLC–IR Communication System With Beam‐Steered Uplink and Turbo Coding Under Mobility
IET Optoelectronics, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.This paper presents a hybrid VLC–IR communication system integrating a beam‐steered infrared uplink with Turbo coding for reliable indoor optical wireless links. The proposed architecture achieves BER below 10−3 at 10 dB SNR and maintains stable coverage under NLOS conditions through adaptive beam steering.
