Abstract End‐ischemic viability testing by normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) represents an effective strategy to recover liver grafts having initially been discarded for liver transplantation (LT). However, its results in the setting of significant (≥30%) macrovesicular steatosis (MaS) have not been specifically assessed.

Relativistic bound-state calculations in Light Front Dynamics [PDF]
We calculated bound states in the quantum field theoretical approach. Using the Wick-Cutkosky model and an extended version of this model (in which a particle with finite mass is exchanged) we have calculated the bound states in the scalar case.Comment ...

Gauge Theories from Dp-branes [PDF]
In this talk we discuss the need to introduce a string theory in order to obtain a consistent quantum theory of gravity unified with gauge interactions.

Aims We investigated whether a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects the quality of inpatient acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care and long‐term mortality post‐AMI. Methods We analysed data from 784,091 adults, 6,047 with a diagnosis of RA, from England and Wales hospitalised with AMI between 2005 and 2019 from the MINAP registry, linked ...

Anticommons and optimal patent policy in a model of sequential innovation [PDF]
When innovation is sequential, the development of new products depends on the access to previous discoveries. As a consequence the patent system affects both the revenues and the cost of the innovator.

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...
