Enhanced discovery of bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase through computer simulation and metagenomic analysis of industrial wastewater

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We obtained potential bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase (LMCO) sequences through metagenomic sequencing. All sequences exhibited significant differences from known LMCOs in databases. To select the most promising candidates, we performed structure prediction and molecular docking using alphafold2, metal3d and rosetta.

White Christian Nationalism in the Rural United States

open access: yesNew Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, EarlyView.

SPOT: Sequential Predictive Modeling of Clinical Trial Outcome with Meta-Learning [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Clinical trials are essential to drug development but time-consuming, costly, and prone to failure. Accurate trial outcome prediction based on historical trial data promises better trial investment decisions and more trial success. Existing trial outcome prediction models were not designed to model the relations among similar trials, capture the ...

Automated rapidplan model validation using Eclipse scripting API

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract RapidPlan offers efficiency gains and quality improvements in treatment planning. Prior to its use in the clinic, it requires an extensive validation procedure in which established clinical plans and those generated by the model are compared. The manual iterative nature of this process is resource intensive, as numerous iterations are required
