Protonic ceramic electrolysis cells (PCECs) are a promising intermediate‐temperature hydrogen production technology, leveraging high proton conductivity in electrolytes yet constrained by insufficient catalytic activity and interfacial instability in fuel/air electrodes. This review systematically categorizes advanced electrode materials and critically

Convergence properties of a geometric mesh smoothing algorithm [PDF]
We describe a simple geometric transformation of triangles which leads to an efficient and effective algorithm to smooth triangle and tetrahedral meshes. Our focus lies on the convergence properties of this algorithm: we prove the effectivity for some planar triangle meshes and further introduce dynamical methods to study the dynamics of the algorithm ...

Universal Meshes: A new paradigm for computing with nonconforming triangulations [PDF]
We describe a method for discretizing planar C2-regular domains immersed in non-conforming triangulations. The method consists in constructing mappings from triangles in a background mesh to curvilinear ones that conform exactly to the immersed domain.

Texturing of indium tin oxide (ITO) electrodes on plastic substrates is found to enable both, a remarkable transparency up to the near‐infrared region, and a massively enhanced mechanical stability upon bending. Therefore, textured ITO electrodes are an appealing option for flexible opto‐electronic applications with near‐infrared response, such as all ...

On the combinatorics of quadrant marked mesh patterns in 132-avoiding permutations [PDF]
International audienceThe study of quadrant marked mesh patterns in 132-avoiding permutations was initiated by Kitaev, Remmel and Tiefenbruck. We refine several results of Kitaev, Remmel and Tiefenbruck by giving new combinatorial interpretations for the
