Channel drop filter in two-dimensional triangular lattice photonic crystals
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2007Based on two-dimensional photonic crystals with a triangular lattice, a channel drop filter with a wavelength-selective reflection microcavity is designed. In the structure, two microcavities are used. One is used for a resonant tunneling-based channel drop operation.

Journal of Hydraulic Research, 2003The control of an hydraulic jump by a thin wall continuous sill in a triangular channel with an aperture of 90° is analyzed experimentally. A relationship for the control of the hydraulic jump under any conditions of generation is presented in an adimensionnal form in order to have a general validity character.

Nuclear Engineering and Design, 1968Abstract It is shown that the normalized temperature distribution for slug flow in all regular polygonal channels with uniform heat flux at the walls is identical with that for slug flow in all triangular channels with any combination of uniform heat fluxes on the three walls.
