Reducing CO2 emission can effectively control global warming. And energy conservation is the most scientifical and systematical ways to reduce CO2 emissions. The total heat exchangers with membrane core, which consist of cross-corrugated triangular ducts

Innovative catalytic streamlined carriers with triangular channels
The paper presents research on a novel catalytic carrier, called "streamlined structure". The carrier is a short-channel monolith, whose walls are shaped like an airfoil profile (airplane wing). The intention is heat transfer intensification coupled with moderate flow resistance.

Numerical modeling of laminar free overfall in triangular channels
Design of open channel transport and flow measurement systems for highly viscous liquids requires accurate modelling of laminar free overfall. In this study, a computational fluid dynamics model was developed to investigate subcritical laminar free ...

Mathematical model of speech signal leakage channels during discrete-quantified conversion
The purpose of the article is to estimate the leakage channel of a discrete-quantized speech signal with amplitude-pulse modulation. Discrete-quantized analog-to-digital conversion of signals in the article is considered by the example of pulse-amplitude

Prediction of Heat Transfer during Condensation in Non-Circular Channels
It is desirable to know whether correlations for condensation in round tubes can be used for non-circular channels. To investigate this matter, a number of well-known correlations for mini and macro channels as well as some for flattened channels were ...
