Abstract In this paper, we consider an unconstrained optimization problem with fuzzy valued functions. Using generalized Hukuhara differentiability of fuzzy functions in Newton’s method, we obtain an optimal solution of fuzzy unconstrained optimization problem without transforming to crisp equivalent form.
