An Extended Interval‐Valued Pythagorean Fuzzy VIKOR Approach With Logarithmic Distance Measures for Service Quality Evaluation of University Library

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Evaluating service quality presents a multicriteria decision‐making (MCDM) challenge, involving numerous factors that contribute to its complexity. Traditional approaches to assessing service quality frequently struggle to encapsulate the ambiguity and uncertainty in user experiences, particularly when confronted with intricate, multidimensional ...

The dynamics of consensus in group decision making: investigating the pairwise interactions between fuzzy preferences. [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we present an overview of the soft consensus model in group decision making and we investigate the dynamical patterns generated by the fundamental pairwise preference interactions on which the model is based.

Using fuzzy numbers and OWA operators in the weighted average and its application in decision making [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Se presenta un nuevo método para tratar situaciones de incertidumbre en los que se utiliza el operador OWAWA (media ponderada – media ponderada ordenada). A este operador se le denomina operador OWAWA borroso (FOWAWA).

Time inconsistency in sustainable partner selection for vertical collaborative network organizations

open access: yesIET Collaborative Intelligent Manufacturing, Volume 6, Issue 1, March 2024.
The authors explore time inconsistency in sustainable partner selection within Collaborative Networked Organisations (CNOs) using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchical Process and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution. Focussing on a Swiss Manufacturing CNO, the research investigates how environmental criterion evaluations ...

A Novel Dynamic Multicriteria Decision-Making Approach for Low-Carbon Supplier Selection of Low-Carbon Buildings Based on Interval-Valued Triangular Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, 2018
Due to the lack of natural resources and environmental problems which have been appearing increasingly, low-carbon buildings are more and more involved in the construction industry.

Description of sup- and inf-preserving aggregation functions via families of clusters in data tables

open access: yes, 2017
Connection between the theory of aggregation functions and formal concept analysis is discussed and studied, thus filling a gap in the literature by building a bridge between these two theories, one of them living in the world of data fusion, the second ...

An Approach for Evaluating Website Quality in Hotel Industry Based on Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yesInformatica, 2017
Compared to fuzzy numbers, intuitionistic fuzzy numbers provide greater opportunities for solving complex decision-making problems, especially when they are related to ambiguities, uncertainties and vagueness. However, their use is more complex, especially when it comes to ordinary users.

Transportation Problem With The Aid Of Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we investigate transportation problem in which supplies and demands are intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Intuitionistic fuzzy Vogel's Approximation method is proposed to find an initial basic feasible solution in terms of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The solution procedure is illustrated with suitable numerical example.

A Fourth Order Finite Difference Scheme for the Solution of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equation

open access: yesFuzzy Information and Engineering
This paper aims to develop a fourth order fuzzy finite difference scheme to solve an intuitionistic fuzzy hyperbolic partial differential equation. The initial and boundary conditions of the intuitionistic fuzzy hyperbolic partial differential equation ...
