Learning Highly Dynamic Skills Transition for Quadruped Jumping Through Constrained Space

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A quadruped robot masters dynamic jumps through constrained spaces with animal‐inspired moves and intelligent vision control. This hierarchical learning approach combines imitation of biological agility with real‐time trajectory planning. Although legged animals are capable of performing explosive motions while traversing confined spaces, replicating ...

On feckly polar rings

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, we introduce a new notion which lies properly between strong [Formula: see text]-regularity and pseudopolarity. A ring [Formula: see text] is feckly polar if for any [Formula: see text] there exists [Formula: see text] such that [Formula:

Spin-Wellen-Berechnungen für Heisenberg-Magnete mit reduzierter Symmetrie

open access: yes, 2011
The phenomenon of magnetism is a pure quantum effect and has been studied since the beginning of civilization. The practical use of magnetic materials for technical purposes was well established in the 19th century; still nowadays there is no lack of new

TacScope: A Miniaturized Vision‐Based Tactile Sensor for Surgical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
TacScope is a compact, vision‐based tactile sensor designed for robot‐assisted surgery. By leveraging a curved elastomer surface with pressure‐sensitive particle redistribution, it captures high‐resolution 3D tactile feedback. TacScope enables accurate tumor detection and shape classification beneath soft tissue phantoms, offering a scalable, low‐cost ...

Rings Additively Generated by Periodic Elements

open access: yes, 2023
In the present paper, as a generalization of the classical periodic rings, we explore those rings whose elements are additively generated by two (or more) periodic elements by calling them additively periodic.

A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

Strongly clean triangular matrix rings with endomorphisms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A ring R is strongly clean provided that every element in R is the sum of an idempotent and a unit that commutate. Let Tn(R; σ) be the skew triangular matrix ring over a local ring R where σ is an endomorphism of R.

Abel Rings and Super-Strongly Clean Rings

open access: yes, 2015
In this note, we first show that a ring R is Abel if and only if the 2 × 2 upper triangular matrix ring over R is quasi-normal. Next, we give the notion of super-strongly clean ring (that is, an Abel clean ring), which is inbetween uniquely clean rings ...

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.
