Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

A Novel Computational Paradigm for Reconstructing Solid CAD Features from a Segmented Manifold Triangular Mesh

open access: yesApplied Sciences
We introduce a novel computational paradigm for reconstructing solid computer-aided design (CAD) features from the surface of a segmented manifold triangular mesh.

STEGANOGRAPHY TECHNIQUE ON CLOSED 3D TRIANGULAR MESHES

open access: yesTạp chí Khoa học Đại học Đà Lạt, 2016
This paper proposes a structure presentation of 3D mesh and closed mesh, which can apply for hidden messages. Based on shifting value coordinates of vertices, the technique allows information hidden on the triangular 3D mesh model.

Simple algorithms to compute meridional overturning and barotropic streamfunctions on unstructured meshes [PDF]

open access: yesGeoscientific Model Development, 2020
Computation of barotropic and meridional overturning streamfunctions for models formulated on unstructured meshes is commonly preceded by interpolation to a regular mesh.

A Hybrid Approach for Optimizing Planar Triangular Meshes

open access: yes, 2012
Modified Direct Method (MDM) is an iterative scheme based on Jacobi iterations for smoothing planar meshes [4]. The basic idea behind MDM is to make any triangular element be as close to an equilateral triangle as possible.

Discrete Surface Modeling Based on Google Earth: A Case Study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Google Earth (GE) has become a powerful tool for geological, geophysical and geographical modeling; yet GE can be accepted to acquire elevation data of terrain.

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...

From planar surfaces based on lattices to freeform surfaces based on triangular meshes: an advanced extension of the areal motif method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Surfaces are shifting from traditional planar surfaces to freeform surfaces with significantly reduced volume and weight and highly improved performance.

Percolation in Networks with Voids and Bottlenecks

open access: yes, 2009
A general method is proposed for predicting the asymptotic percolation threshold of networks with bottlenecks, in the limit that the sub-net mesh size goes to zero.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.
