Estimates for Sobolev norms of triangular mappings

Moscow University Mathematics Bulletin, 2007
In the paper an increasing triangular mapping \(T\) is considered on \(n\)-dimensional cube \(\Omega = [0,1]^n\) which brings the measure \(\mu\) into the measure \(\nu\), where \(\mu\) and \(\nu\) are absolutely continuous Borel probability measures with densities \(\rho_\mu\) and \(\rho_\nu\).

Discrete Triangular Norms

2003
In this chapter, we study the relationships between discrete t-norms, i.e. t-norms on a finite chain, and t-norms on the unit interval. Firstly, we investigate when and how a discrete t-norm can be extended to a (continuous) t-norm on the unit interval.

An extension of the migrative property for triangular norms

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2011
In the last three years, the migrativity of triangular norms \((T(a,x,y)= T(x,a,y))\) for a fixed \(a\) was extensively studied and generalized in different directions. In this paper, a generalized form of migrativity equation is studied \[ (T(T_0(a,x), y)= T(x,T_0(a,y))) \] for particular cases when \(T_0\) is the strongest t-norm \(T_M\) or the ...

Classifier Fusion Using Triangular Norms

2004
This paper describes a method for fusing a collection of classifiers where the fusion can compensate for some positive correlation among the classifiers. Specifically, it does not require the assumption of evidential independence of the classifiers to be fused (such as Dempster Shafer’s fusion rule).

Generated triangular norms.

Kybernetika, 2000
Summary: An overview of generated triangular norms and their applications is presented. Several properties of generated t-norms are investigated by means of the corresponding generators, including convergence properties. Some applications are given. An exhaustive list of relevant references is included.

The Use of Triangular Norms

1998
We have been able to see that when considering the qualities or abilities as non-independent between each other, it is possible to use, in the event that this reflects the real phenomena, the «and» (∧) or the «and/or» (∨). It is logical to think that between these extreme operators, there are others that permit reflecting situations of intermediate ...
