Ranking efficient DMUs using the Tchebycheff norm with fuzzy data in DEA [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Research in Industrial Engineering, 2019
In many real applications, the data of production processes cannot be precisely measured. Hence the input and output of Decision Making Units (DMUs) in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) may be imprecise or fuzzy-numbered. In original DEA models, inputs and

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

Extrusion‐Based Additive Manufacturing of Advanced Ceramics: Strengthening Mechanisms and Process Optimization Review

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This review comprehensively evaluates extrusion‐based additive manufacturing for advanced ceramics, detailing feedstock options and key process parameters. By critically addressing defect mechanisms like porosity and cracking, the work highlights optimization strategies through machine learning and advanced postprocessing.

On the Effect of Creep on Local Lattice Orientation in Single‐Crystal Ni‐Based Superalloy Microstructures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
During creep of a single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloy, the overall crystal orientation is observed to remain constant while the microstructure evolves. Despite the lack of macroscopic rotation, small (<1°) rotations are observed on the submicron size scale and are accommodated by counteracting rotations over the scale of several micrometers.

SISO Intuitionistic Fuzzy Systems: IF- ${t}$ -Norm, IF- ${R}$ -Implication, and Universal Approximators

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Fuzzy system, as the main method of approximate reasoning, has been widely used to solve practical problems. The existing results on fuzzy systems were based on fuzzy sets, fuzzy if-then rule, and fuzzy inference.

The Influence of Field‐Assisted Sintering Technology (FAST) Temperature and Cooling Rate on the Microstructural Evolution in Gamma‐Titanium Aluminide Alloy GE4822

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Controlling the Field Assisted Sintering Technology (FAST) parameters, dwell temperature and cooling rate, significantly influences the microstructural evolution in titanium aluminide GE4822. Significant γ‐lamellar colonies develop only upon cooling through the α‐transus.

(α,β,T)-Convex vague sets

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2012
By using vague sets we generalize the notion of convex sets and introduce the notion of (α, β ,T )-convex vague sets and study their properties, where T is a triangular norm on [0, 1].

Formal Ordinal Sums of Triangular Norms on Modular Lattices

open access: yesMathematics
The formal ordinal sums of t-norms on the bounded lattice is defined by Saminger, but the formal ordinal sum need not be a t-norm. Hence, she provides a necessary and sufficient condition such that the formal ordinal sum is a t-norm indeed. In this paper,

Study on Sugeno Probability Integral of γ-fuzzy Operator

open access: yesJournal of Harbin University of Science and Technology, 2020
As an indispensable branch of fuzzy mathematics, fuzzy probability integral is an important integral form that relies on fuzzy probability and fuzzy measure, and is also a powerful tool for studying fuzzy mathematics. Aiming at the definition and theorem

Enhanced Ultrasound Transmission Through Aberration Layers Using Space‐Coiling Acoustic Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Enhancing ultrasound transmission through an aberration layer exhibiting mismatched impedance with the surrounding medium possesses great implications in imaging and treatment. In this study, we show that a space‐coiling acoustic metamaterial with judiciously tailored structural profile can help improve impedance matching.
