Diagonals of continuous triangular norms
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1999Diagonals of continuous t-norms are investigated. Attention is paid to diagonals of nilpotent and Archimedian t-norms. The diagonals of general continuous t-norms are characterized.

Semi-divisible triangular norms
Soft Computing, 2007Let \(\odot\) be a left-continuous t-norm, \(\rightarrow\) the corresponding residuum, and \(n\) the corresponding residual negation; then \(\odot\) is called semi-divisible [\textit{E. Turunen} and \textit{J. Mertanen}, Soft Comput. 12, No.~4, 353--357 (2008; Zbl 1138.06006)] if \((a \rightarrow b) \rightarrow b = (b \rightarrow a) \rightarrow a ...

Triangular norm-based mathematical fuzzy logics
2005We consider particular classes of infinite-valued propositional logics which are strongly related to t-norms as conjunction connectives and to the real unit interval as set of their truth degrees.

The class of cooperative games, which is the main topic of this book and which we shall investigate in detail in chapters IV — VI, consists of games with fuzzy coalitions. In such coalitions players are allowed to belong in a gradual way (as opposed to the yes/no alternative in classical models of games in characteristic function form, as described by ...

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2001
The author studies two questions. First, he asks when two triangular norms are comparable as real functions. These results can now be found in the book: \textit{E. P. Klement}, \textit{R. Mesiar} and \textit{E. Pap}, Triangular norms, Kluwer, Dordrecht (2000; Zbl 0972.03002), Ex.~3.32 and Chapter~6.

Estimates for Sobolev norms of triangular mappings
Moscow University Mathematics Bulletin, 2007In the paper an increasing triangular mapping \(T\) is considered on \(n\)-dimensional cube \(\Omega = [0,1]^n\) which brings the measure \(\mu\) into the measure \(\nu\), where \(\mu\) and \(\nu\) are absolutely continuous Borel probability measures with densities \(\rho_\mu\) and \(\rho_\nu\).

Classifier Fusion Using Triangular Norms
2004This paper describes a method for fusing a collection of classifiers where the fusion can compensate for some positive correlation among the classifiers. Specifically, it does not require the assumption of evidential independence of the classifiers to be fused (such as Dempster Shafer’s fusion rule).

Triangular Norms — An Overview
2001Historical development of triangular norms theory is recalled. Basic properties of t-norms are discussed. Several examples are included. Then we discuss the algebraic properties of t-norms. Different construction methods including latest ones are described. A special attention is paid to the representation of continuous t-norms. Some related operations
