The Triangular Designers’ Space: Methodical Approach to Balance Brand Typicality and Novelty
2021Besides attracting attention, recognisability is one of the most important aspects for brands to distinguish themselves from competitors. However, there are so many competitors around that it might sound impossible to be recognisable as a brand. So the question is, how can brands become visible between other (screaming) initiatives (advertisements ...

Subjectivity, Objectivity, and Triangular Space
The Psychoanalytic Quarterly, 2004The author reviews his ideas on subjectivity, objectivity, and the third position in the psychoanalytic encounter, particularly in clinical work with borderline and narcissistic patients. Using the theories of Melanie Klein and Wilfred Bion as a basis, the author describes his concept of triangular space.

Space-time codes with triangular core
2004 IEEE International Conference on Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37577), 2004A new family of fully diverse high rate space time codes is proposed based on number theoretic results and a property of a certain family of matrices. The code is linearly encodable and can be decoded using the sphere decoding algorithm.

Idempotence preserving maps on spaces of triangular matrices
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing, 2007Let \(F\) be a field, \({n}>{0}\) be a natural number and let \(M_{n}\left(F\right)\) be the vector space of all \({n}\times{n}\) matrices over \(F\). A linear map \(\psi: M_{n}\left(F\right)\rightarrow M_{n}\left(F\right)\) is said to preserve idempotence if \(A-\lambda B\) is idempotent iff \(\psi\left(A\right)-\lambda \psi\left(B\right)\) is ...

Simultaneous Triangularization of Operators on a Banach Space
Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 1990Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for an algebra \({\mathcal G}\) of compact operators on a Banach space \(\chi\) to be simultaneously triangularizable. This means the existence of a chain \({\mathcal C}\) such that (i) \({\mathcal C}\) is a maximal chain of subspaces of \(\chi\), and (ii) every member of \({\mathcal C}\) is invariant ...

Fuzzy vector spaces under triangular norms
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1988Let E be a vector space over a field K and F a fuzzy set defined on E. According to \textit{A. K. Katsaras} and \textit{D. B. Liu} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 58, 135-146 (1977; Zbl 0358.46011)] F is a fuzzy subspace of E if \(F(x+y)\leq \min (F(x),F(y))\) and F(kx)\(\geq F(x)\) for all x,y\(\in E\) and \(k\in K\).
